かき氷・ブルーハワイ
Japanese-style Shaved Ice, “Kakigori” - Blue Hawaii 手ぬぐいを染める手法「注染」だからできる図案にしたいと思いました。
染料をじょうろで注ぎ、真っ白な生地に色がジワーっとにじむように染め上がるのを「かき氷」に見立てました。一つ一つ微妙にシロップのかかり方が違うのもかき氷みたいです。使い込んでいくうちに色が薄くなってきて無くなっていくかき氷に涼を感じてもらえるとうれしいです。
I wanted to create a design
that is unique to this special technique of
dyeing tenugui. I used the process of poring
the dye from a pot and the way it looks when
it slowly seeps into the snow-white cloth to
resemble “kakigori”. The way syrup is pored
on each one is subtly different like real “kakigori”.
As you use it over and over, I hope you feel
coolness in the faded colors, just like “kakigori”
disappearing from the dish, going into your
stomach.
注意：本染めの為、使い始めは色落ちしますので、他のものとわけて、手洗いすることをおすすめいたします。
CAUTION : Keep in mind decolored on the character of a product in the beginning
in the case of wash.
